Rice was disadvantageous to his little system, so prunes were in order. He LOVES prunes- especially the ones on his hands.

Who me? Messy?

So far we were having success- so I tried carrots the last couple times. Both kids seem to think they are not so great. I wish I had pics of their faces eating them. Today Bryant's sequence was: "What the heck is that mom?" "Gag, cough, get this out of my mouth mom!" mouth shut "I am not going to eat it- what no fair you can't open my mouth for me... yuck...whimper" Repeat two times and finally mom gives up. What kid likes prunes better than carrots?

The cousins love the new babies. Here are a couple of Elliana with our babies.

The kids LOVE playing in baby gyms. Here are a few of them being very intent at the fun toys.


I am so proud that this has been posted within a couple weeks and NOT within a month and a half! The babies are 4 months today. I can't believe it.

Highlights of right now:
-they LOVE to play with the gyms
-They love the bouncers
-They love to talk and squeal
-They love to kick in the bathtub
-They are starting to giggle more and more!
-They love "To Market" (a bounce on the knee game and fall backwards at the end) In fact- they love falling so much mom has to make sure she is ready because they will do it on their own :)

Not so high or lights:
-reverted back to 3hour night time intervals (or less)
-one or both seems to have had a cold for the whole of their existence
-HATE getting knows sucked out
-still not huge fans of tummy time- although it is improving.

They are SO fun. I am excited because the doctor said we can go ahead and start cereals and baby foods. Maybe we will get a little more sleep!!!!! They are also starting to nap on the same schedule more and more hallelujah. Bryant is about the 90th percentile of length and about the 50th for weight. Caitlyn is an inch shorter but only 3 oz. less than he is and she has been eating better than him. But both are pretty long and skinny- not that that surprises either of us :)

Well, since they are sleeping I should go do my chores :) -they are so much easier to get done two handed. Adios Amigos
